Felt Ring for Saeco Conical Grinder – Protective Ring Beneath the Grinding Cone
This felt ring for Saeco conical grinders is located inside the grinder beneath the base or drive hub of the grinding cone. Its purpose is to protect the area underneath the grinder and prevent ground coffee and fine coffee dust from entering the area around the grinder motor.
Although small, the felt ring is an important component within the conical grinder. During normal grinding operation, the existing ring may become dirty, clogged or worn over time. When disassembling, cleaning or overhauling the grinder, it is therefore advisable to check the condition of the felt ring and replace it if necessary.
The installation position of the felt ring is shown in images 1 and 3.
The ring is positioned centrally inside the grinder directly beneath the base or drive hub of the grinding cone.
