Drainage valve for Miele coffee machines
This drainage valve for Miele coffee machines is located in the drive unit area and is an important component of the water and brewing system. The valve controls the drainage of water and ensures that the corresponding water flows inside the coffee machine are discharged in a controlled manner.
A worn or defective Miele drainage valve may become noticeable, among other things, by an unusually large amount of water collecting in the drip tray. If water flows directly or in larger quantities into the drip tray during the rinsing cycle or while coffee is being prepared, the drainage valve may be a possible cause.
The lower part of the valve is movable. During installation, particular attention must therefore be paid to the correct alignment and positioning on the drive unit.
Installation note:
The raised guide on the movable lower part of the drainage valve must face towards the drive unit during installation. At the same time, ensure that the three retaining tabs on the upper part of the valve engage correctly and completely with the drive unit.
