Felt Ring for Jura Grinder Units
This felt ring for Jura grinders is installed inside the grinder directly under the base / socket of the grinding cone. Its purpose is to shield the lower section of the grinder and help prevent ground coffee and fine coffee dust from reaching the grinder motor area.
Although relatively small, the felt ring is an important component within the conical burr grinder assembly. During normal operation, the ring can gradually become contaminated, clogged or worn. For this reason, its condition should also be checked whenever the grinder is dismantled, cleaned or overhauled, and the ring should be replaced if necessary.
The installation position of the felt ring is shown in Image 1 and 3.
